quick update

Here are my three boys on a Saturday evening. We just finished pizza, one of Dylan's current favorites. He's not the best eater in the world. In fact, it's been a daily struggle for a while now, but pizza gets his teeth chomping just about every time. He ate three pieces just a short while ago. Impressive for a two year old who would subsist on apples, canteloupe and mangos all day if he could. And yes, I did say mangos.

So what have we been doing lately? And what kinds of things has Dylan been getting into?

Dylan's talking up a storm these days. Something that always makes us laugh, though, is the way he says things. It seems as though nearly every word has a "t" or a "k" ending. For instance, "Uh oh, my shoe's untidek" is something we hear multiple times a day. He also enjoys counting. He's doing a really great job, especially considering that fact that he's two. His counting typically goes something like this, "One, two, tree, four, six, seben, eet, nine, ten." I think this is fantastic for a two year old, but we always ask him what he has against five. He doesn't seem to know what we're talking about though. I must admit I think it's pretty cute. Other things Dylan enjoys are running around outside, play-doh, and singing along to Slugs, Bugs, and Lullabies--especially the Tractor Week song. Thanks, John and Melinda for such a fabulous kids cd!

Gotta run! The baby's crying!

What a cute glimpse into Dylan's life. Hopefully he'll get past the pizza-only phase soon!
